Economic Development Director, Salt Lake City

Lara Fritts is director of the Salt Lake City Department of Economic Development, where she oversees the Salt Lake City Redevelopment Agency, Salt Lake Arts Council, and business development. Lara brings over 20 years of experience in economic development, management and technology. Her experience includes serving as president and CEO of the Annapolis Economic Development Corporation, where she founded the award-winning Maryland Economic Development Association. Previously, Lara was executive director of the Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation. She has also served as executive director of the Greater Rockville Partnership, and president and CEO of the Washington D.C. Technology Council.
