James Watanabe

Vice President, Watanabe Enterprises

James Watanabe works with start-up business ventures to help them grow into successful operations. His work assignments include developing corporate business strategies, driving product development and innovation, building strategic partnerships, directing sales, and much more.

In his current role, Watanabe is responsible for the government contracting efforts of Watanabe Enterprises. The company was awarded its first government contract within 30 days of formally being able to bid on Federal Government work. Following the successful completion of that contract, the company has won many multi-year service contracts with the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and the Department of Health and Human Services/IHS.

The company is debt-free and growing revenues year-over-year. Watanabe is a firm believer in the power of collaboration and counts his relationship with PTAC and other state-sponsored groups as some of his most treasured partnerships.
