Dr. Jesús Seade is the undersecretary for North American Affairs at the Mexico Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has led a global career straddling academia and high-level public service both nationally and internationally. Seade led Mexico’s influential and constructive role in the creation of the World Trade Organization. As their deputy director-general, he led economic work and relations with governments, legislatures, press and business sectors in member countries around the world.
Seade served as vice president at two leading universities in Hong Kong and China. He was also a member of the advisory boards of the Ministers of Trade and Financial Services in Hong Kong.
