Sam Bernards has 20 years of experience starting and scaling companies within the consumer goods, venture capital and retail markets. Bernards took the mattress company, Purple, public and grew the organization’s revenue and capacity by 300 percent, to $200 million a year. He was a founding member of Peak Ventures, which invested in 31 companies and grew their valuations by an average of 420 percent. During his time at Walmart, Bernards led a $79 billion retail growth strategy, a $7 billion optimization strategy, and a $2 billion global supply chain optimization. Bernards is also a Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
