Sen. Jake Anderegg has been in the Utah legislature for over seven years, with four years in the House of Representatives, and three years in the Senate. Sen. Anderegg is a vice president of community development with Zions Bank, and as a senator, is the chair of the Executive Offices and Criminal Justice Appropriations Subcommittee, chair of the Political Subdivisions Interim Committee, chair of the Administrative Rules Review Committee, and sits as a member of the International Trade and Relations, Business and Labor, and Transportation Standing Committees, the Infrastructure and General Government Appropriations Subcommittee, and the Economic Development Interim Committee. Sen. Anderegg also is the co-chair on the Utah Affordable Housing Commission. As such, he is intricately involved with housing, economic development and infrastructure funding, all challenges resulting from Utah’s unprecedented growth. In fact, Sen. Anderegg’s Senate District grew by nearly 25,000 residents in 2018 alone.
